Hey Everyone,
My Macbook had been suffering from the random shutdown syndrome so I brought it to the nearest Apple Store last Tuesday (Aug 29). The laptop was shipped to a repair center, and I was told by the mac "genius" that it would take 1 week MAX. Well, I still have not received it, and the status says that it is awaiting a part order. At this point I think I would be lucky to get it next Tuesday, which would be 2 weeks after I brought it in. I do not mean to be a grumpy customer, but this is frustrating to say the least. Luckily, I have other computers; **let this be a lesson to people that are considering having one machine! You may want to have two**- I know that if I had no computer while this one was being repaired I would be much more irritated.
Anyway, will Apple do anything to make up for the fact that the repairs are taking longer than stated? I assume they won't but just wanted to hear some thoughts. Thanks, and I hope that you people with Macbooks have better luck than I did- although I do love the machine, just not the problems!
