Hi everybody,

a friend of mine has a problem with his new powerbook, although it´s not the horizontal lines problem. it´s simply a dead/stuck pixel. some time ago i read here that there is a way to defreeze/deblock these pixels. any tips where he can find the software to do so ? or is it better to simply send it back ?
thanks for the help.

ITASOR has a program to run, which I am sure he will post.

That and I heard massaging the screen and/or rubbing your weiner on the screen helps. :p

Exactly. Tales of "massaging" pixels back to life are urban legends. Just an excursive in futility, devised by the LCD manufacturers of the world to waste your time.

You've really got 2 choices:

1. Deal with it (like me).
2. Bitch and moan over one lousy pixel.

It's your call...

Yeah, just search IATSORS or my posts. We both have been posting it. I've not tried it but it is supposed to help in 70% of the cases or so. If you cannot find it or if IATSOR isn't checking this thread let me know and I'll search.
