and I hope one of you guys can help me:
I am really fed up as I am not able to work for a full day without 1-12 restarts of my MBP. The reason I have to is my Softwares (only the ones from Apple) continously hang.
Usually the first one is Apple Mail. It happens when I wanna send a message, sometimes even if I open a new message or try to add afile to it. Suddenly this rotating colorwheel comes and I can wait for days or directs force to quit. I can try to open it again, but it won't work!
If I continue to work with the other software I have iMessage is next to start to hang, followed by Safari and Pages or Numbers. Opening a file, saving/closing a file, starting a new file or trying to add something to a document. It seems everythin can cause a hang. But this only happens to these Softwares. Outlook, Word, Excel, Illustrator, FormZ, Photoshop, everything else works flawlessly.
I really tried a lot of the tips and tricks you can find online, like deleting files in the System Library, but nothing seems to work.
Clean install might work, or this PRam cleanup, but I am scare that I will loose data this was, I even lost some serious emails, but could find them in a time-machine backup afterwards. They are now somewhere in a folder that I need to analyze one day as it is like acryptic labyrinth.
Can anyone help???
