Got my replacement 2012 Mac Mini (2.6GHz, 16GB, 1TB Fusion) this evening after returning the original for display problems (snow) and random rebooting.
Put in the new RAM, plugged in the monitor, plugged in the unit, turned it on. It goes directly to the screen showing the diagram for "turn on your trackpad or mouse". I turn on my trackpad and keyboard, but the computer never connects to either.
I call Apple. Do various reboots and change the batteries. Still no connection to the unit. I gave away my USB keyboard and mouse with my iMac. Apple says they can't do anything until I have a USB keyboard.
Want to know the worst thing? Whereas it took a day or two for the snow screen to show itself with my original Mini, this time around I got snow within the first two minutes.
Anyone have any bright ideas?
