So I just had both of my AirPods Pro replace minus the case. Well the replacements were in separate shipments and the left one is on fw 2B584 and the right one 2B588 and I can't get them to sync because of this. I'm trying to get them to update to the latest, but there is no sure fire way to get this to happen. I've tried resetting them and that doesn't do anything. Only thing I can do is pair each one separately cause as soon as I put them both in the case together the amber light flashes and won't stop with lid open.

I did. They were no help. I finally just paired one then put the other in case with it and left case on charger for a few hours and they then synced.
