Went to the Apple Certified Repairshop of my country (no Apple Store here) for an iPhone 12 battery replacement. Came back home, plugged the phone to coconutBattery.

It says manufacture date november of 2022. We are in december of 2023. The battery is already a year old.

Will it be less performing than a month old battery? Or will it be the same?

Can I ask it to be replaced again? Or a refund?

I wouldn't trust that the date is correct, it's the same as the date of manufacture of the phone. These readings aren't always accurate.

Yes I know it's because when you get a new battery, the manufacturing date of the battery replace the manufacturing date of the phone. Before this it was end of 2020 for the phone date.

I've never checked the manufacture date of the replacement batteries I've had done by Apple. They all came with very low percentage of charge but lasted as long as the original and all performed normally. I would ask if there's a warranty on the replacement if it starts to deteriorate abnormally and if they don't, discuss your concerns and maybe they will replace it. The problem is you may get another battery that's the same age or possibly older

Yes you're right.
Just called Apple support, they advised me to wait to get to a real Apple Store in order to drop the phone again since the authorized shop left some dust under the FaceTime camera... They told me they will check the battery as well. I have 90 days to do it. Since I travel soon to a country that have Apple Stores, it's good.
