My charging/data cable that came with my iPad has died after about 6 weeks. No excessive pulling/twisting, just plug iPad in to charge - use a dock for iTuning. Has anyone had any luck getting the cable exchanged by Apple?

Not a cable, but the charger for my iPhone broke and was replaced without question when I took it in to ask about it. I assume the cables would be the same.
