Dropped the case at the pool the other day and could not find the right Air Pod, tried Find My and every other solution. Eventually gave up. Where is the best place to buy a refurbished Model 2084 single pod? Any experiences to share? Saw ReCellExchange and The Right One sites, really don't want to pay retail for something I rarely use. Thanks,

Are your AirPods Pro covered by AppleCare+? Thought of getting a replacement one from Apple? Check that first bro 👊

They are not - ended up ordering from ReCell Exchange - $39 instead of $109 Apple wanted. Will be here tomorrow I will post a review.

sorry a bit late to the thread but beware of the single replacement option. if your replacement airpod is on a different firmware than the one you still have your in for a bit of nightmare in trying to pair the replacement. whilst it can be done but it is really a case of being lucky. i lost a airpod pro2 went into local apple store purchased a single replacement airpod pro2 and the replacement airpod pro2 was on a older firmware version no matter what i did what I read on internet it simply wouldn’t pair as a working pair of airpods or update firmware . after numerous calls to apple services and two trips back to store eventually after 5 weeks i received a brand new pair . the apple service engineer highlighted mismatched firmware makes it nigh on impossible or frustrating for end users to resolve. updating firmware via the replacement airpod in the case requires a matched firmware on both . that said there are a few cases of end users having success note the word a few . good luck

If you are in UK... CEX got 2nd Hand cases (empty) for Apple airPod xx from £10 to £20... and used from £50 onwards (5year warranty on everything!)

Received over the weekend and airpod looked new - charged via cable and repaired - worked perfectly. $39 vs $109 from Apple
