This is a long shot but I am hoping I can find a replacement for the dashboard widget "Sol" now that Apple has phased out Dashboard (was I the only person using it?! lol)

Sol is an app that shows how much daylight and night there is everyday in your location. It looks like this:

https://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/information/sol_kylemckay.html

Forgive me if you can find a replacement easily with a search, but I have tried searching and have not found anything. (Apparently the makers of Sol don't have a replacement, I can't find them.)

What I am finding are graphics of the whole earth in daylight and darkness, but that is not what I am looking for. Sol showed length of daylight and darkness's at your location and gave hours. These of course changed throughout the year with minimum and maximum at the two solstices.

If anyone knows of one I would be eternally grateful.

Susan

Lookin at your stats you have an iPhone. Its build-in weather app will give you that information for each city. Just open any city and scroll down a bit. The Weather item of Notification Center of your Mac wil also display icons for sunset and sunrise but its information is a little less specific (no exact numbers from what I can tell).

Forecast bar has it:
