Howdy,

My trusty PPC Mini needs a new hard drive. I'm considering two different ones from OWC:

Option #1: $50 Seagate LD25.2 80GB with 2MB cache and 5-year warranty
Option #2: $65 Seagate Momentus 5400.3 160GB with 8MB cache and 3-year warranty

The extra capacity and $15 price difference don't matter much to me. What I'm most curious about is the cache difference.

Will the Momentus' larger cache result in "better" performance in some way? I have a vague understanding that it will make the machine more responsive...or something like that. What say you?

Thanks!
