My auto focus stopped working on my iPhone. Went to Apple store today and they replaced it. It has 6.0.2 on it and I wondered if there was any way to upgrade it to 6.1.2 before I JB it.

Store wanted to update it to latest so I could restore from my backup, I said NO NO NO leave it alone. Don't mind starting over but have to have JB. I take it there no way to use my backup as it was on a newer iOS version?

Nope.

Had to get a replacement 5 today due to my volume down button had stopped working. Dreaded going in not knowing what version of ios would be preloaded and chance losing my jailbreak. I was running 6.1.2 and was hoping anything other than 6.1.3. As soon as he handed me my replacement 5 I set up as new not wanting to chance being forced to update because of incompatible ios versions. Thankfully the unit was on 6.0.2! Just finishing installing all my apps and jailbreak tweaks. Yes, it is a pain not to just restore from back up but would be even more so if I lost the ability to Jailbreak!

Seems 6.0.2 is the current batch out there for replacement. Actually stable and works well so can't complain.
