Hello.
I just traded in my 2 year old 1 GB Nano (battery was fading fast) for a refurbished same-model Nano. (My Mac is running OS10.3.9, not compatible with the newer iPods).
I plugged the "refurbished" iPod into my computer to charge the battery. The Apple icon flashed for a few seconds, then the screen went black and has stayed that way for the past 2 hours.
Is this normal for a new/needs to be fully charged battery?
Also, my iTunes/ computer does not recognize the iPod. Will that happen if/when the battery charges? I plugged it in, nothing happened. No icon on my desktop, iTunes did not open automatically, as it has done before.
Do I have a lemon of an Apple?
Do I have to go back to the Apple Store AGAIN? Say it ain't so.
Thanks all.
