I finally convinced Apple that my original MBP was a lemon. This was replaced on 10/7 and i went to the Leopard update site and low and behold im eligible for $9.95 Leopard. BOOM, ordered on the spot.
I somehow now feel compensated for all the issues I had with the first one.
So in summary. Brand new week 38 MBP with an LG screen and perfect in every way , and now a $10 copy of leopard! Not too shabby...
