I have a power Mac 5.1 with high Sierra. I purchased a Vega 64 and its power cable, 128 GB of RAMM and 3.46 CPUs. Do I need to do anything with the software before replacing the hardware? Thank you

Not necessarily, all three are supported with High Sierra. Do one upgrade at a time, test it and only then go to the next one. Start with the simpler one, the DIMMs, then the GPU and finally the Xeons.

Btw, it's a real mid-2010/mid-2012? Early-2009 dual CPU Mac Pros require de-lided Xeons.

Thank you tsialex, really kind. The only doubt I have is that if I install all the RAM with the original Mac equipment it might be too much compared to Apple's indications which, if I'm not mistaken, indicate 64 as the maximum expandable RAM. Anyway yes, it's a 5.1 mid 2010

Apple is very conservative with maximum RAM supported, Apple documentation is constant with half of the hardware possibilities.

A dual CPU MacPro5,1 supports 8x16GB 2Rx4 1333MHz DIMMs without any hacks and even 8x32GB 2Rx4 1333MHz with OpenCore help.
