As per the theard title, the "r" and "g" on our mid-2014 MBP are not wokring properly. I literally have to pound the "g" pretty hard and the "r" isn't much better. Can these keys be replaced without having to replace the keyboard?

My 11in MBA has a key that's detached from the suction cup and the suction cup is detached from the keyboard itself. Do you readers have advice for reattaching these pieces? Thanks!

Try 95% spirit/alcohol: turn off your laptop, put a few drops of liquid under the key (all sides, you can't harm electronics with 95% alcohol) and work it for a bit. I managed to 100% fix iPhone 4 Home button this way recently (my trusty iPhone is daily driven since August of 2010, 12+ years, all original including battery).

only issue is I would have to pry the key up to get alcohol under it, and afraid I will mess somethin up, lol. It is odd because if I hold either key down, it will work so maybe somebody at a service centre can do somethin. Silly to have to replace the entire keyboard on this old of a Mac, even though it still works well
