hey guys, I have a mbp with a matte screen and I would like to replace it with a glossy without having to buy a totally new machine. Any ideas on how to go about in doing this? I've seen the new mbp's with the glossy screen in the apple store and they're so much better than the matte screen!:( I would just like to replace the lcd itself...not the whole computer.

hmmm...i have the glossy and feel the opposite, the reflections annoy when im working because they're all over the screen. but i tried using my parents dell with a matte in the sunlight and it was horrible. so glossy is better than matte for me, but only by a little

if you're nice enough, maybe the people at your local Apple store will swap 'em for you (you have to be really nice or know someone who works there).
