Hi
I'm from Hong Kong, and I'm in the States for college. For Thanksgiving break, I'll be going to Toronto.

I was wondering if I'll get my keyboard replaced (I broke a couple of keys) if I go to an Apple store in Toronto, even though I bought my MBP in HK (with extended 3 years Apple Care plan thing when I configured my MBP online)

(There are no Apple stores in my school, only a best buy.)

Neeehaoo Ma! :p

Provided you didn't accidentally break your keyboard, you should be able to obtain service + replacement free of charge at any authorised Apple Store world-wide. The AppleCare warranty is covered world-wide.

If you spilled water on your keyboard or snap it into pieces or whatever then you'll unfortunately be liable for the costs of service and part.

Hope this helps!
Ciao

Ummm, here is a silly question. Does your HK purchased laptop have the same keyboard as ours in North America? If not, I'm sure that the Apple Store will not have parts in stock for your model. Heck, I don't even know if the Apple Stores stock replacement part such as keyboards for that matter...

In summary - I have nothing to contribute to this thread, I guess.

Off topic but I hate the UK keyboard, the enter key is tiny!
