argh... don't get too pissed, but for the life of me i can't find that website/thread that explains in detail how to change the battery in a 3rd gen (buttons above the wheel) iPod...

i've finally had it with my 1hour battery life (no exageration) and am ready to do a little iPod surgery this weekend...

thanks for the help! :D

not the ones i've managed to find online... i'm looking for a website with pictures... a walk through of the process that an ape could follow...

i already have a battery...

looking for detailed instruction on how to put the darn thing in the iPod without breaking something important... :D

edit: there is a video on the site...

I replaced the battery in my 3rd generation and i can't imagine heart surgery being any harder. The tools that came with were useless and became dull before i even got my ipod open. A pocket knife worked well and the battery was great till my iPod got stolen. Good luck!
