repositioning iPad Pro 11 smart connector pins

The current lack of good keyboards for the new iPad got me thinking: I have an iPad Pro 2 10.5 and a Logitech CREATE smart keyboard - could I connect the new iPad to this old keyboard with 3 wires glued to the ipad, running from the new smart connector position on the ipad's back to the old position on the side that would allow me to connect the keyboard as usual ? Did Apple upgrade/change the smart connector so as to prevent this hack ? I write daily on my iPad...

I wouldn't actually use glue, more like duct tape... but still, would it work ?

No worries.

Probably better in the main iPad forum. I get the "hacks" part, but what that really means is software hacks. You are unlikely to get any real responses here.

You'll need to give your idea a try. I would not expect it to work, and I would not be surprised when you damage something.

There's no documentation on what any of the pins do. It may be that the 10.5 uses an entirely different signal and power input/output.
