I'm curious - does anyone know if you are allowed to repost a file from a podcast on your web site (with credit)? Or is that a big no-no?

I'd look for copyright information at the source to see if they have anything specific being said about the podcast. I know some of the podcast I listen to say that it cannot be reproduced elsewhere without explicit permission from the author.
If you're using a small snippet you could probably get away with just giving a reference for it, but for any sizable amount I'd definitely seek permission or don't repost it. It's not much different than reposting a news article, even if you give credit, it's seen as plagiarism.
