Request for future iPads

I will not buy any new iPad (or iPhone) as long as:

• The camera is protruding the housing, Apple this is very bad engineering! Both, iPhone and iPad, can only be used with a case to protect the lens. Especially for the iPad You want to have flat on the table. If You have no shorter camera then increase the thickness and give us more battery lifetime.
  
• I want my earphone connector back. I want to use my prefered earphones without adapter and also when charging the battery.

So Apple, if You want me back as customer, there is a chance.

Agree. Just bought an iPad Pro 11" yesterday, and less than 24 hours into ownership, I'm already missing the headphone jack. Tried to watch a movie in bed last night and couldn't do it without waking my wife. Yeah yeah, there's workarounds, but not without going to a store to buy a damn adapter. Ended up watching the movie on my old iPad.

I feel you. There is also no chance Apple will do either of these things (make the iPad thicker or bring back the headphone jack), so I hope you find another manufacturer that will make you happy with their product.

Well, to the OP....um...I think you’ll be waiting forever. As thin as iPhones & iPads are now...the camera bump in one form or another is here to stay. Quality lenses in a device that thin need room to do their thing. It’s a question of physics man. Without the bump...camera quality would suffer. And I don’t think Apple will ever make their devices thicker. So get used to the bump. It’s here to stay.

Me personally? I don’t mind the bump. I put cases on my devices anyway...and so should everyone in my opinion.

I just bought one of the new iPad Pros, so I won’t be upgrading for awhile. I will buy the next iPad mini however to replace my dying iPad mini 2. Other than that, I am good for a few years.

By then, I am sure iPad Pros will have micro LED displays and even faster chips. But I want for nothing now. These new iPad pros are screaming fast. Looking forward to photoshop coming later this year, and hopefully big changes with iOS 13.

I was in my local Apple store yesterday was the only person looking at the iPads, and the 11 inch iPad Pro i picked up did not have the keyboard attached and that was great.

For the first time was able to hold it in my hand and this was good, it's weight is a little more then my 10.5 inch iPad Pro the performance was quick i just scanned a few web sites and Apple Store WiFi was not the fasted, so was hard to compare but it worked just fine.

From what i found i feel the mad rush to buy the new iPads have cooled down, and am sure the higher prices have great thing to do with this, even just a few people were looking at the new iPhones and i feel the same is true for them now i did check out one and it worked really good but i don't find it worked any better then my iPhone8 Plus for it's really high prices.

I feel Apple should do some real thinking in regards to their pricing just my 2% on it.

Headphone jack is gone for good, and you don't need a case, the camera will be fine if you take care of your products. But good news for you there are other options on the market besides apple.
