I am working on a mobile site and would like to leverage the GPS capabilities of the iPhone to enhance the mobile version.

At this point in time it is all going to be a mobile web-based site but want to use an iPhone native app for GPS.

Unfortunately I'm still dipping my toes so even something this simple is over my head. I was hoping someone might be willing to provide me with a simple app that would:

- Upon loading, get GPS coordinates
- Once having the GPS coordinates, pass that to our website URL and load it in an embedded browser in the app.

I would greatly appreciate it, and hopefully it would help me better understand how its working so I could actually understand the code/app myself!

Thanks!

I've got it up and running and now I just wonder if my "app" would even be accepted into the app store? Does anyone know? I tried searching but couldn't really find anything... but I can't imagine this is actually the type of app apple would want in their app store...

AFAIK there are at least two apps already in the AppStore built on top of that.
