Reset All Content and Settings, stuck in Recovery

Hello,

Yesterday there was something wrong with my iPad so I decided to do a Reset All Content and Settings, I have a jailbreak so I can't restore. (I have no SHSH.) The whole night there was an Apple on the screen and I really want to use my iPad now. I really don't want to Restore, then I will lose my jailbreak. When I exit Recovery there stays an Apple and when I exit DFU the same thing happened. How can I use my iPad without Restore?

I have faced that with my iPad, the only solution I have found from apple is this:
1. Hold down Power and Home keys together until the iPad power is off, release before the iPad goes on again.
2. Hold down the Home key while the iPad is off, and connect the cable to the iPad (make sure the cable is also connected to your PC / MAC).

The iPad will power up in recovery mode, now you can use iTune to restore your iPad, the only problem now is the new update, I don't know whether the iPad will be updated automatically to 3.2.1 software or not, as you know the jailbreak is not out for 3.2.1 yet.

Sadly, it doesn't seem you can do anything other than restore to 3.2.1 since you don't have your SHSH blobs.

There's no Reset All Content and Settings, there's a Reset All Settings, and Erase All Content and Settings. Which did you do? If you erased all, then everything gets deleted from your iPad, including your jailbreak, and the iPad would have gone into recovery mode (connect to iTunes screen) even if the process hadn't hang at the Apple logo.

Am waiting for the 3.2.1 jailbreak myself -- my own iPad is jailbroken, but we just got a second iPad, which came with 3.2.1 already installed.

Too bad you didn't ask for help before you did Erase All Content, there may have been other less radical steps you could have taken to resolve your issues. I wish Apple would come up with a better description for that procedure, many people use it and then are surprised to find their iDevices become non-responsive and they have to restore. It really is the equivalent of reformatting the hard drive, but the name "Erase All Content and Settings" makes people think it's something less radical.
