For years, I've been using 1Password for my password , financial, and other personal data management, but I want to give Apple Keychain another try, especially with 1Password slowly moving to a subscription model.

I've figured out how to reset the Web login section, but there are other keychains that I may need to reset to the way they would be if I were a new Apple user accessing the keychain for the first time.

I see
  • Directory Services ( not reset )
  • Login ( reset )
  • iCloud ( not reset )
  • System ( not reset )
  • System Roots ( not reset )

Which of these can I reset to "manufacturer defaults" ?

create new keychain... Its easier, at least you still have the old one (just in case something does go wrong) you can restore the old keychain. Much better then 'cherry picking' thinking this could work..

But if you wanna remove then I have

- Local items
- System
- System Roots
