I am hoping to get the new 3GS tomorrow so I will be selling my current 3G.
Looking at the reset options, the most obvious one is "Erase all contents and settings". There is a reset all settings above that. Which is the best to use that will clear all the data I have on the phone but will also leave the latest 3.0 OS on the phone as I think it may help it sell.

Erase All Content and Settings is ALWAYS the best option, but it won't leave the 3.0 OS on it. Just Erase and then connect to iTunes to reload and don't setup as a new or existing phone. :)

So doing an erase like that removes the Operating System?
