My setup:
MacBook Pro mid-2012, 2,3 GHz Core i7,
4GB RAM, 500 GB HD 5400 rpm, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 512 MB dedicated, Intel HD 4000 integrated.
Software: OS X Lion, Xcode vv. 4.3.3 & 4.4.1
Writing here because of its random nature, so Googling or browsing these forums didn't help.
The issue:
Whenever I open plist containing larger amount of entries in either of the two versions of Xcode and try to resize the window by dragging the result of each drag is produced in a broken manner making for very slow overall process: before showing the end state of every resizing action it blinks revealing blank graphics for a very brief span of time as shown in the YouTube video I post the link to.
It isn't the case with plists containing very few entries. I'm puzzled. How do I cure this? Is it possible at all?
The link to the video capture of the issue:
Since the visual representation of actual blinking effect is different on this video it's those moments when you see nothing that are actual blank flashes (not captured by QuickTime Player) I referred above to. Also I should mention (though I'm not sure whether that relates to any degree) I unchecked automatic graphic switching in system preferences. Also, I get a ton of the following Console entries:
