Question -- tried googling, but to no avail. I have a Mac Pro 1,1 that I'm using without an attached monitor (has an ATI 4870 GPU)...I'm using either Apple's screen sharing, or LogMeIn. I can't get the screen resolution any higher than 1680 x 1050 (or something like that). Anyone know how to get around this, or why this happens? Thanks in advance.

Perhaps that was the highest res of the last monitor you had connected and thats all the Mac can remember? Not sure.

Appreciate the responses, guys. I haven't tried the software -- will do so now and report back. As far as the last monitor is concerned, it was a 2560 x 1440.

The G5 I use as a headless server at home defaults to the resolution of the last used screen when I control it using Screen Sharing.

I'm not sure how it would work if there was never a monitor connected, sorry.
