My girlfriend is a school social worker. She had a Google Meeting this morning for school, and with her new iPhone 12 went to the App Store. She clicked on Google Meet and was surprised to see it said 'Purchased', went to her meeting. After she went to her bank account and was shocked that it said 148.$ charge from Apple.Com/US.

She didn't want or intend to pay for Google Meet at all. Work provides all that stuff. Can you tell us please how to cancel / get reimbursed for this?

Thanks so much for any help.

According to her Apple Account she didn't buy it, but the charge showed up at her bank.

Also, Google Meet is a free app. I haven't downloaded it, but I highly doubt it includes in-app purchases. So I imagine the $148 charge from Apple is from something else (another app, etc.). Apple and/or your bank should be able to sort the charge out.
