Resolved: Mac Studio Ethernet broken in RC1

My Mac Studio is connected via WiFi and Ethernet. It's worked great so far, but broke in RC1.

It always ends up with a self assigned address. I have tried manual address config, swapped cables with known good cable/ports, deleted all config fiesl and rebooted. Booting into Monterey works.

Anybody else seeing this?

Turned out to be a wider problem after the wired ethernet failed at my desk on other systems.
Sometimes, it's the hardware: a 1GB ethernet switch was flaking out. Good carrier, bad routing.
Swapped out and done.
