What is Resounder?

In short, Resounder is the ultimate iPhone/iPod Touch soundboard application. You can create an unlimited amount of soundboards with anywhere from 1-16 buttons on them (plus any custom background image you want). You can record sounds yourself and manage your Sound Library to put these sounds on as many different soundboards as you want.

So what's new in version 1.01?
  • iPod Touch Support (2nd gen) - Touch users can now record sounds if they have a microphone!
  • Find and Download Sounds - A built-in browser that you can use to download any audio file off the internet straight into your Sound Library (all on your iPhone or iPod!)
You know those soundboard apps on the app store that give you maybe 10 sounds, no customization, no recording, and even want you to pay for them? You won't ever need them again. Using Resounder, you can create unlimited custom soundboards to your heart's content -- a soundboard for any situation.

Resounder is currently still at an introductory price of only 99 cents, but this will not last for long. We have held it there as long as possible but will soon need to raise it. Let us know what you think of Resounder by posting reviews in the App Store and giving feedback on our official site forums at www.resounderapp.com.

Thanks to everyone who has downloaded so far. For those that have downloaded Resounder, what are your thoughts on it? Any suggestions for improvement/changes? We are looking for ways to improve the app and looking for any feedback we can get if you have had enough time to play with it. Thanks!

I haven't had too much time to play around with this yet, but so far it seems pretty cool. I am an Opie and Anthony listener and they make extensive use of their soundboards, so I like to play along at home as well. I have a bunch of their sounds as mp3's that I have downloaded on my computer, and have been trying to get them onto my iPod through this app. I think i've been able to get maybe 3 of the files. I had the idea to email them to myself and just open the attachment through the app, so hopefully that will work. Would there be any way to implement an "Air Sharing" type of file movement so that maybe sound files could be directly moved from the computer to the iPod?

Thanks for your feedback Zman! One of the next features that we are planning to implement is something similar to the "air sharing" you described. For now you are able to add what you can record and what you can browse to in an internet browser, but look for it in an upcoming update!
