Hi all,

I had localhost going on my version of Leopard the other day (Version 10.5.2), but when I tried to set up Virtual Hosts it seems to have screwed up everything and now I can't even browse localhost.

I've been scouring the internet for two days and getting nowhere. I guess the only option is to restore Apache2 and PHP5, then start again. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I'm not sure what to download etc.

Thanks for any help.

I seem to have figured it out, sorta. I have changed my username.conf file (/etc/apache2/users/*username*.conf) back to the basics:

<directory "/Users/*username*/Sites">
Options Indexes MultiViews FollowSymLinks
AllowOverride All
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
</directory>

So, now I have Apache pointing to the original directory again (/Library/Webserver/documents/), I just need to figure out what else I'm doing wrong!

Bumping this because I'm getting the same problem. I'm not sure what happened, but localhost has stopped working on me even though the server is allegedly running.
