Restore AppleTV2 without upgrading firmware?

I'm the proud owner of a jailbroken AppleTV2 on iOS 4.4.4. Is it possible to restore and re-jailbreak without updating the FW? I don't want to have to rely on an unstable 5.0 jailbreak if I don't have to.
