I can’t find a good answer to this question. I’ve been having issues with CarPlay and the only thing I can think of is to restore and setup as new.

I know I’ll need to unpair my Apple Watch first. But how do I wipe and setup as new and keep the eSIM from TMo? I’ll need to go back to public release.

What’s the best way, using Finder it on the phone itself?

The eSIM will stay after a wipe. Erasing it from the phone should be sufficient.

What issues are you having with CarPlay? I assume you've already tried removing the car from the phone, AND the phone from the car?

Yes, I removed it from Bluetooth and CarPlay. The problem is that after Siri reads the first message or answers something, all the subsequent responses and barely audible even with the volume turned all the way up. The next day things work fine for one or two messages and then the same thing all the Siri volume is barely audible.

edit: all other volume is fine i.e., phone calls, Music, etc.
