My dad's Titanium PowerBook was stolen a few days ago.

Luckily for him he made a bootable backup of it's entire drive the evening before it happened.
When he got his new 15" PB, he just booted from the external HD with the backup, and superdupered everything to the internal HD.
His system works, but wouldn't OSX need different drivers for this newer machines?
Is there a way to install these drivers without having to do a complete reinstall?

Just want to make optimal performance possible ;).

Cheers

I can't think of an easy way to install appropriate system drivers so if you're really not happy with system performance then try installing a clean version of OSX (format and install) and then use Migration Assistant to get the settings and files from your cloned drive. :)
