I am looking for some decisive information please. I am only newish to Mac and OSX which is why I am a little confused about creating a restore disc.
I have my mac connected to a time machine firstly. But in the even of a catastrophic failure what do I do to restore the system. I know I don't need a copy of ML on a DVD. But do I download it onto a disc to keep in case of emergency. Or do I do something else. I have read something about recovery assistant. I was thinking it was something already installed on my system to create a restore disc. Am I wrong? Do I need to download that then that will allow me to create a restore disc.
Sorry for such a basic question probably but I am really tired.
