So I went to my local :apple: store here in VA, Clarendon...I travel for work...and got my iPhone 3G replaced this evening. It would not charge so I went only asking for them to run a diagnostic on it to see if there where any issues. If not then I'll just keep my charger handy...

To my surprise the Genius offered to replace the iPhone, I certainly was not going to argue with him.

So on to the question...

I'm back and syncing the new iPhone with my laptop and the iPhone has been restoring from a backup for the past 35 minutes. I had issues with the other iPhone taking forever to backup also, it just seemed to take about 50 minutes to back up before I could then sync any new content to the iPhone. I was wondering if anyone knew of any issues with backing up or restoring from a backup? And also, if anyone knew of any issues that might cause the iPhone to take forever to backup when just trying to sync new content?

Thanks.
