iPhone Restore, iPhone from a Jailbreak

Hello. Okay so my best friend has an iPhone 3G, she currently has it jailbreaked with Cydia but she wants to 'un-jailbreak' it so that she can have the latest apple software on their, basically so her phone isn't jail broken anymore. I've read some steps over the Internet but thought I'd post on here. If anyone could help that would be amazing.

I have a windows 7 laptop, with the current version of iTunes so please could I have an easy, step by step instruction on how to un-jailbreak her phone please? Thank you!

Unfortunately for your friend, she will have to stick to what she's currently on., as iOS 5-6 do not support the iPhone 3G model.

All she can do is Restore to iOS 4.2.1

That's cool, how do we go about restoring it to iOS 4.2.1 and getting rid of the jail break?

Connect to a computer, open iTunes, download the latest version of iOS that's available for the device and hit "Restore". Mind, though, that all media will be gone.

Actually, once you hit restore, iTunes will get the IPSW for you, just sit back and relax

Ok, I've done it it just comes up with connect to iTunes on phone, I do them it restores and repeats. What should I do?
