Is there anybody who can help me, a complete numpty, restore my photos-have lost the entire library. Updated to 10.10.3 which updated my large iPhoto file. Came to use it with some new images, but couldn't get it to do what I wanted.Hadn't got time to play and remembered I had NX2 set up which I haven't used for a while. Loaded images to that and then to the cloud sharing system I use. No problems. However when I went to shut everything down I must have ;hit' some wrong key and lost photos, iPhotos. Tried restoring from my external WD drive via time machine. I photo will reload the app, but no content and can't reload photo as 'can't be deleted, amended as needed by OSX'
Is there anything I can do to get my 32k plus images back? Help please

In Finder go to:

/Users/<your_user_name>/Pictures

Both iPhoto and Photos libraries should be there. Double-click on either should load the app with the library (either iPhoto or Photos)
