i decided to try ios9 on my Air 2 last night. I really liked it a lot. The multitasking is done really, really well. However, I found it a little slow and unstable at times, as expected with a beta.
So, I decided to go back to 8.3.
What I did was before installing ios9, I backed up my iPad to my Mac at 4:59pm. I downloaded the os and installed at about 6pm. At around 7:30 I downloaded ios8 and installed it. I then clicked on restore and there was a backup listed at 6 and a backup at 4:59. I didn't run a backup at 6 so I chose the one I did at 4:59. When it was done, I started using my iPad and everything was different. Turns out it was some backup from 6 months ago which happened you've the previous time I had backed up to the Mac. I was extra careful when selecting the restore and it was definitely the 4:59 one.
I've had this issue before too. Is there some problem with backing up and restoring not working right? I plugged my iPad back in just to try it again and now the 4:59 backup is not even listed anymore.
