i tried restoring using a back up I have and then when I go through screen where I out my iCloud user name and password I have a screen that says put in password. I do and it doesn't work. Then forgot password shows me someone else's email. I don't get it.

Sounds like your iCloud account got hacked? Can you sign in at iCloud.com at all?

I want to be sure I understand the problem.

You try to sign in to iCloud on your phone with the same email and password you use to sign in on iCloud.com right?
Yes. When I got my new iPhone and I click set up from iCloud back up. I put my username and password. It went to agree page and then it asked for password again but I couldn't hit the next button.

Ok so instead of setting up the phone as NEW you are trying to restore from an iCloud backup. Ok, if the Apple ID and password are correct and the phone is not taking it make sure you don't have a space after the password or e-mail address.

Yea I did that. When it asks for my password again I hit forgot password and another email address shows up. It's so weird. I had to set up as new and install it again.
