Ok, so I got the 3Gs after my 3G was lost to an iced tea incident. I was on vacation away from my computer/itunes/backups, and took several pictures and video on the new 3Gs. When I returned home, I restored from backup, and lost all of my new pictures/video.

Is there a way for me to still retireve these pictures/video?

From Apple:
'Deleted data is no longer accessible via the iPhone user interface, but isn’t permanently erased from your iPhone until it’s overwritten by new data.'

Yet, I cannot find anyway to access this data, and I cannot anything from Apple on how to do this. Can anyone help, or are they gone forever?

So does no response mean I am pretty much screwed?

Yes, you are SOL. Your restore overwrites everything, and the only way to get "restore" pics, video, etc. is from syncing from the computer. Since these were pics on your iPhone that got overwritten and were not backed up to the computer, you've lost them. Had you copied the pictures from your camera roll to the pc using software to do that (like shareipod), then you'd have them. Sorry.
