Restored iPhone, iPhoto's now low res

got the new iPhone 7, restored via iCloud from my iPhone 6 save, and all the photos I have are now low res. When I click on them, i get the loading icon in the bottom right corner and it downloads the high res.

I have 'download and keep originals' selected in the photos and camera settings option, yet it doesn't appear to be doing that. I have 10 gb of photos on ICloud Photo Library, yet my phone is showing only about 1 gb. What gives?

Maybe give it time to download all the photos? Are you on wifi?

That was exactly it! Guess I have no patience. Woke up and it was all downloaded. Thanks!

Good! I uploaded 800 photos the other day and when I checked my phone, they were all low res until they finished downloading.
