(Sorry if this has been asked in another thread, but I've looked and didn't find anything quite like it.)
After updating to iOS 5 last night, my iPhone did an iCloud backup. I can go into iCloud's settings and see that it's using space for backups, I can click through to my iPhone backup, and see all my apps and how much space they're using (most things are in the KB range, so it's just the app data). They're all "on", of course, in terms of backing up.
Now, I take one of those apps, whose app data has been backed up, and delete it from my phone. I then go to the App Store, look it up, and hit "Install".
How do I get the app data back? The app data that's sitting in my backup on iCloud? Shouldn't it be pushed down when I re-install the app?
Or does this only work for apps that specifically support iCloud?
