Hi,

Since I updated my iphone 7 to IOS 13, I have a lot of problems like Calendar app freezing when I click on a meeting (a reboot will fix it for a couple of hours). Trying to configure my homekit automation just ends up in endless loop with an error message after a while. Some email in Mail app aren't visible of my phone (but I can see them in Outlook desktop app), etc... I never had that many problems after an upgrade.

I decided I want to start from scratch and reinstall my iphone 7.

I just want to be sure if I can restore all my Activity/health app after. I don't want to lose all my training stats.

I enabled Health in iCloud settings. I will take an iCloud backup of my phone too after unparing my watch but I will NOT use it to restore my phone.

Will I keep all my health/activity stuff this way ?

thanks

If iCloud is turned on in Settings for Health, it should sync back to a new iPhone. I can tell you that syncing the Health data to a new phone can take a day or more. Since syncing down is slow, I would be cautious about wiping your phone. I don't know how slowly the phone syncs up to iCloud, but I'm sure it's not a "turn it on and it all syncs immediately" process. If it were me, I'd give it two or three days. The problem is that there's no way to check whether all the Health data has been uploaded (other than setting up a new iPhone and seeing if it all downloads).

thanks ! I didn't enable the health icloud sync today. I enabled it as soon as the option was available (IOS11?).

so I suppose it should be pretty up to date.
