Hi, I had my phone stolen, a factory-unlocked 4S/32GB 5.0.1 jailbroken. Now I've bought a new phone that's actually a secondhand 4S/32GB 5.0.1 NOT-jailbroken. It's new to me but previously used (and presumably activated) but NOT jailbroken.
I have my iTunes backup from the old phone and would very much like to get all that back quickly onto the new phone, while also jailbreaking it. For the Cydia apps I had them all backed up online with PKGBackup.
But am confused as to what the best procedure would be:
1. Jailbreak with RedSnow, restore cydia apps via PKGBackup, then "Restore Backup" in iTunes?
2. "Restore Backup" in iTunes, then jailbreak with RedSnow, then restore cydia apps via PKGBackup
3. Some other procedure / order?
I just want to be double-sure that whatever I do doesn't update the OS as then I'd be screwed. I did do a forum search but most of the posts talked about restoring an old phone to a brand-new phone, not a secondhand one, and not sure if that makes a difference so wanted to be sure.
Thanks in advance...
