Restoring deleted pics

When checking the albums category in my iPhone I can see the Recently deleted folder, but, when using my iPad there is no such folder! Is that right?

Go to Settings > General > About, "Software version" will be the second entry from the top (if you're on iOS 12.2). I suspect that your iPad is not running iOS 12, since mine shows the "Recently Deleted" album at the very bottom of the Albums tab (look at bottom for tabs in Photos).
