Restoring iCal/Reminders backup

I exported my iCal calendars and it generated an .icbu file. I clean installed my OS and started using a new iCloud account.

I can import this file but it fails to sync with iCloud. The reason for this is because the .plist file within the icbu file lists my old iCloud account.

What do I need to change in the plist file?

1) There is a LogIn key, which lists the log in email
2) There is a CalendarUserAddresses key which lists three strings, one of which is the email for the old iCloud account

There are other keys like CalendarHomePath and uuid, that obviously need to be changed over.

Is there an easy way to convert all of this information?

Have you tried just exporting the old calendar as an .ics file and importing that into the new one?

No.

But I just did and it worked like a dream.
