Restoring iPhone in DFU mode in Catalina

Has anyone been able to do so? The iPhone just shows up a blank Finder window and never loads.
iPhone is running b3v2 and Catalina is 19A501i

The interface for iOS device management isn't complete yet.

It's pretty damn spotty.

Mine seems okay I am able to access my iPhone both on the Music app and Finder app. Using MBA 2017 Catalina PB2

The workaround is to create a new user. It looks like the culprit is iCloud drive blocking access to the com.apple.hiservices-xpcservice by constantly hammering it.

So many bugs can be traced to the hot mess that is iCloud drive in this beta.
