If I restore my iPhone will it delete all my text messages, missed calles, etc? The reason I want to restore is because I installed JailBreak and many other apps to play around with. It has been crashing all the time lately, so I decided it's time to restore. Is this the right thing to do? Thanks.

Hmmm... restoring will delete everything thats not sync'd, I've heard some people say their txt messages dont get deleted... but mine always have.

I'm not sure what your issue is, I've jailbroken 5 phones and have not had any real issues that a reboot didn't fix. I use ApolloIM, NES.app, VNSea, TTR, Voice Recorder, and Summerboard theme Leopard on a regular basis, I'd like to hear more about what issues you're having.

If anything, I would unistall all the apps and reinstall them.

So to take this further, if a jailbroken (only jailbreak, NOT unlocked) iPhone is "restored" in iTunes then is it safe? Are you 100% sure that it won't brick the iPhone? I'm curious because I want to jailbreak mine (1.1.1) but hesistant...
