I am in pocession of an Iphone 4s on ios 8.1 from my friend but the fool forgot the passcode of the phone...

and I like to reset it to factory settings but I don't want to update it to IOS 9.1....

is there any way I can hard reset him without having to update to ios 9.1?

because I want to jailbreak him

I was thinking about a lower Itunes version which doesn't require internet to recover the phone if there is a working itunes for it

thanks

Lol all iTunes version will require the Internet to give the Ok for a restore. Even then you need the Apple ID password if you want to restore.

Don't steals iPhones and return it to the real owner ;)

if you people are dutch I can show you screen shots of the conversation with my friend about the passcode xD

he is not the brightest person

if it was stolen I would have installed ios 9.1 and sold it to a shop closeby ;)

this maybe sounds even stranger but I got the passcode from my friends friend he still knew it xD

You can't do that with a stolen locked iphone either!
